PostSubject: Window cleaning   Mon Apr 27, 2009 7:33 am

I'll never forget my first window cleaning job. I charged just $50 since that's how much the supplies were and I had never done window cleaning before. It was going great. I had my step lader and my telescopic window squeegee and bucker. Now it was a chilly day. I thought nothng of it. I went outside to do the windows on this million dollar house and decided to start with the biggest window they had. Which happened to be their kitchen window over the sink. Now this was a huge window. So here I am on a step ladder throwing water on this window from the big window brush. I remember thinking, man they must have alot of salt on these windows from being close to the ocean. Then I realized the water was freezing to the window! The owner came outside and started laughing at me. I was so embarrassed. He said through his tears and gasps of air, I sure was wondering what you were doin luggin that step ladder and bucket out here in freezing tempatures. I guess you weren't thinkin the water would just put a coat of ice on the window!

Well no I didn't! So be warned. Even hot water will freeze if it's too cold outside!
